Brad Drake has dedicated a significant portion of his life to public service. He was elected to the Florida House of Representatives, representing his constituents from 2008 to 2012 and again from 2014 to 2022. In 2023, he was appointed as the Director of Rural & Commnity Affairs in the Executive Office of Governor Ron DeSantis. Furthermore, Governor DeSantis appointed him to the Walton County Board of County Commissioners in the same year.
Throughout his career, Brad Drake has been actively involved in various organizations and affiliations. He served on the Northwest Florida State College Board of Trustees from 2013 to 2014 and held the position of Chairman for CrimeStoppers of Walton County in 2007. Brad also participated in foreign missions through Athletes-in-Action Baseball in 1994. He is a member of the National Rifle Association and has been recognized for his contributions by receiving the Florida Small County Coalition award in both 2022 and 2023.
